About Me

Hello! I’m Camp Stewart, a designer from Hattiesburg, Mississippi. I’m set to graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the University of Southern Mississippi in May 2026.

I was raised on a small farm in Poplarville, Mississippi, where I developed a deep love for nature’s beauty. Early in life, I developed a fascination for the rules of computers, mathematics, and puzzles. Thankfully, I found an overwhelming desire to create artwork, which gave me a way to temporarily escape all rules and boundaries. I eventually found that Graphic Design allows me to enjoy a sense of structure while, at the same time, granting artistic liberties in the same line of work.

Much of my work is inspired by both Dutch design and my history in industrial construction. I enjoy blending clean typefaces with dynamic artwork to provoke audience interest. Within my portfolio, you will find a wide variety of approaches to my projects, showing my progress as a designer and artist.

Hobbies & Interests

I enjoy hiking and practicing outdoor/wildlife photography • Work seasonally as a set designer and stage manager for local theatrical productions • Lifelong player of number, word, and strategy puzzles and games • Love of international travel and cuisine • Sewing, Candle Making, Ceramics
