For this project, the emotional atmosphere of this completed work is conveyed solely through wet media, with no traditional marks. Drawing inspiration from the dark world of Edgar Allen Poe, the colors are dark and evoke a sense of dark stone catacombs coated with moss and mold. This effect works to immerse the reader in the world of Poe before opening this collection.
